Diplomacy & Trade has learned with great sorrow that the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Hungary, Dr. Ashraf Mohsen Mohamed Mohsen has passed away at the age of 50. He served his country in Budapest since March 2012.

The Arab Republic of Egypt is represented in Hungary by a senior diplomat, Dr. Ashraf Mohsen Mohamed Mohsen who presented his credentials in March this year. He gave an interview to the summer issue of Diplomacy & Trade.

Most Hungarians in Egypt have left the country by now, the embassy is not aware of any Hungarian citizens gotten into trouble in connection with the violent anti-government riots there, Ambassador Péter Kveck said on Friday.
