Eight countries, including Hungary, participate in the establishment and start of operation of the European Institute of Peace, with the aim of contributing to the prevention of conflicts and the handling of crises emerging on the continent and other regions.
In a piece for the 'European Voice', Hungarian Foreign Minister János Martonyi voiced his opinion that governments must force the markets to change their perceptions of the eurozone and bear more common responsibility.
The latest plan by the government includes measures affecting the cost of borrowing, utilities prices and foreign currency-denominated mortgages. There may be a higher VAT rate for luxury purchases and the public jobs program expanded.

However, this is not about how wise the Reform Alliance is, most experts have long been saying these reforms should be done and not just talked about.”
