The Hong Kong Young Leaders Development Association visited Budapest to enhance the understanding of Hungary amongst youngsters from Hong Kong, and to foster friendship between Hong Kong and Hungary through people-to-people exchange.

CEU President Michael Ignatieff has announced that the university will continue in Budapest in the 2017-2018 academic year. The announcement comes as the future of CEU is uncertain due to legislation put through parliament by the Hungarian government.
