In an interview published in the summer issue of Diplomacy & Trade, the South African Ambassador to Hungary, Takalani Esther Netshitenzhe says she has witnessed lots of changes in Hungary but sees lots of potential in strengthening bilateral relations.
The South African ambassador to Hungary, Takalani Esther Netshitenzhe welcomed guests - diplomats, businesspeople and South African citizens living in Hungary - at the Gundel Restaurant in Budapest to celebrate her country's Freedom Day. This was the day in 1994 when the first democratic election was held in South Africa, i.e. an election when all adults could vote irrespective of their race, and the day in 1997 when the new constitution took effect.
