Hungary's László Barta won the Goldsteig Ultrarace in Germany by completing the 661 kilometer long cross-country distance in 143 hours and 57 minutes while compatriot Anna Örsi clocked 169 hours and 45 minutes to win the women's competition.

Oldest living Olympic champion 102 years old

The oldest living Olympic Champion, Sándor Tarics, who won gold in the 1936 Olympics with the Hungarian water polo team, turned 102 this Wednesday. He moved to the United States in 1948 where he taught at university and worked as construction engineer.

40 Croatian police officers accompanying a train carrying migrants from Croatia to Hungary were disarmed by Hungarian police on Friday. According to the spokesman of the Hungarian government, 4,400 migrants arrived to Hungary from Croatia on this day.
