Hungary's Sándor Liu Shaolin won the 500-meter event at the World Short Track Skating Championships in Seoul, South Korea this Saturday with his brother, Shaoang coming in third. Shaoang secured another medal for Hungary: a silver at 1,500 meters.
Sándor Liu Shaolin's victory is the first world championship title in short track speed skating for Hungary. He was also in the final at 1,500 meters where he finished 5th.
"This morning, I woke up like a champion. I had a feeling of success," he told the Hungarian news agency MTI.
