Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Ltd. has had another successful year: its production last year was 4.1% higher than in 2016, and more than 190,000 Mercedes-Benz compact cars were manufactured in its Kecskemét factory.
German carmaker Daimler will invest a further EUR 250 million at its Mercedes manufacturing base in Kecskemét, east-central Hungary by 2018. The company will invest in technology developments as well as expand its production capacity.
