Hungary opens towards Latin America

András Kállay-Saunders has been selected by Hungarian TV viewers to represent Hungary at the 2014 Eurovision song contest in the Danish capital, Copenhagen this May. His song ’Running’ received the most televotes in the national contest called ’A Dal’ (’The Song’).

The American skier of Hungarian ancestry, Ted Ligety won the men’s giant slalom event at the Sochi Winter Olympics, winning the second Olympic gold medal of his career. The Hungarian entrant, Norbert Farkas came in 50th, finishing ahead of 22 rivals.
