Two more golds for Hungary at the Olympics

Gymnast Krisztián Berki won the men’s pommel horse event Sunday afternoon to take Hungary’s third Olympic gold at this Olympics, while compatriot Krisztián Pars followed suit in the evening by conquering the title in the men’s hammer throw.

Gyurta takes second Olympic gold for Hungary

Hungary's Dániel Gyurta has won the men's 200-meter breaststroke event at the 30th Summer Olympic Games in London this Wednesday. This is Hungary's fourth medal at the 2012 Games after a gold in fencing and a silver and a bronze in judo.

157 Hungarians compete at the London Olympics

Parliament approves 2013 transactions tax

Hungary's Parliament passed the controversial Financial Transactions Tax Act on Monday. The bill levying a 0.1% tax on transactions - except for those connected to credit - had 249 MPs voting in favor of the proposal vs. 94 against.
