Katinka Hosszú - Swimmer of the Year

Hungary's Katinka Hosszú was named as the female Swimmer of the Year at the FINA/Alisports World Aquatics Gala held in Windsor, Canada this Sunday. She won three gold medals and a silver at the Summer Olympics in Rio earlier this year.

Hungary lost 3-2 it World Cup qualfying game to Switzerland in Budapest. The visitors took the lead three times, Hungary managed to equalize twice but had no answer to the third Swiss goal scored a minute before the end of regular time.
