Hungary is in penultimate position in Group B of the European qualifying competition for the 2018 World Cup as it lost 3-2 in Budapest to Switzerland. The Swiss took the lead three times, Hungarian striker Ádám Szalai managed to equalize twice but Hungary had no answer to the third Swiss goal scored a minute before the end of regular time.
