The Hungarian capital hosts a four-day show jumping world cup event this long week-end in the National Riding Hall. This Saturday, the Gold Tour event took place with 49 horses participating.
Following a jump-off of seven competitors – necessitated by a tie – the top position (and a prize money of EUR 12,885) was won by Swiss rider Alain Jufer and his horse, Cornet MM.
He finished just 0.76 seconds ahead of Britain's Laura Rendwick (prize money: EUR 10,220) riding her horse, Arkuga. Johnny Pals of the Netherlands was third with another 0.26 seconds behind on his horse, Fernado, pocketing EUR 7,665 in prize money.
