Compulsory Mask Wearing in Hungary

As of this Wednesday, people are required to wear face masks even at public places (except for parks and other green areas and i case of sports activities) in towns and cities of over 10,000 inhabitants in Hungary.

Mayors of these towns and cities as well as of the 23 districts of Budapest have been authorized to determine which public places this rule should apply to.
