COVID-19: Daily Death Toll Over 100 Again

107 people infected with the coronavirus have died in the last 24 hours, the number of active people infected has risen to a total of 106,000 in Hungary.

This is the third time that the number of deaths registered in a single day has reached 107, which is the highest number ever.

4,238 new infections have been registered in Hungary in the past 24 hours, the number of active infections thus increased to 106,265. 7,013 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 569 of whom are on ventilators.

According to the official government website, “the number of infected people is growing exponentially in Hungary as well, more and more people are requesting hospital care. The epidemic cannot be stopped, the aim is to slow down the epidemic and protect the performance of hospitals. ”
