Another 117 patients infected with the new coronavirus died in the past 24 hours, bringing the official number of COVID-19 related deaths to in Hungary to 4,008 while 44,020 people have already recovered.
The new coronavirus infection was detected in another 3,929 Hungarians, thus increasing the number of identified infections in this country to 181,881.
The number of active infections is 133,853. The official government website finds it important to point out that 22% of the active infected, 25% of the dead and 26% of the recovered are from Budapest.
7,598 coronavirus patients are being hospitalized, 638 of whom are on a ventilator.
