Another 103 patients died by Sunday morning in Hungary due to complications related to the new coronavitus infection, bringing the official number of victims to 9,884.
The coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in another 1,307 Hungarian citizens in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 327,995, according to the data published on the government epidemiological information page.
The number of recovered people is also constantly increasing, standing currently at 168,381, while the number of active infected people has decreased to 149,730.
5,619 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 403 of whom are on ventilators. According to the aggregate mortality data, more than every thousandth person in Hungary has died from the epidemic (since the population of the country was 9,769,526 in 2020, according to the country's Central Statistical Office).
