Number of Daily Fatalities Drops to Five in Hungary

Five patients died in Hungary in the past 24 hours, bringing the total official number of deaths to 29,733 in this country according to the relevant government website.

The number of cured persons is steadily increasing and now stands at 700,236, while the number of active infected persons has decreased to 74,569.

156 new cases of coronavirus infection were identified in Hungary in 24 hours, bringing the total number of identified infected people to 804,538 since the start of the outbreak, the government website said on Monday.

There are 981 patients with coronavirus in hospital, 110 of whom are on ventilators.

5,146,949 people have been vaccinated at least once, and 3,611,690 of them have received a second vaccination.
