Hungarian tourist dies in Egypt balloon accident

The Hungarian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that one of the victims of the deadly hot-air balloon accident over Luxor, Egypt was a woman of Hungarian nationality. She was one of the 18 tourists who died as a balloon exploded in the air.

The hot-air balloon, carrying 21 people, was at the height of about 300 meters over the west bank of the river Nile when it caught fire, exploded and fell on a sugar cane plantation. A local official said 18 people died in the accident. Two tourists and the driver of the balloon survived, they were taken to hospital.
