Children's Railway Back in Operation in Budapest

June 6, 2021

After almost seven months of service disruption due to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus epidemic, the Széchenyi Hill Children's Railway has resumed operation.

During the summer period, trains run every day: every hour on weekdays and every 40-50 minutes on weekends. The stations have been refurbished and are now open to visitors.

The country's oldest small C50 locomotive will also be in service on pre-announced days, running on nostalgia trains.
