Széll Kálmán Square - still known to most Budapesters by its previous name as Moszkva (Moscow) Square -, the busiest junction on the Buda side of the Hungarian capital has been renovated in the framework of a HUF 5.3 billion project. Online and print media reports suggest many of the project elements were extremely overpriced - something denied by the Center for Budapest Transport.
Among others, the building above the underground station has been converted into a glass-walled facility. The bus and tram stops have also been renovated.
