The entire management and the offices of Malév Hungarian Airlines will move to Budapest’s international airport. According to plans, three modernized office buildings await the some 600 employees of the company.
The airline company may save as much as close to EUR one million a year. The three buildings, located between Terminal One and Terminal Two will be stripped down to their reinforced steel structure and completely renovated by Budapest Airport by the summer of 2012.
Budapest Airport Real Estate Management director René Droese said the airport management was glad to see the national airliner moving its headquarters there. In the past six months, this has been the third large-scale contract to utilize real estate at the airport, meaning the use of a total of 30,000 square meters.
