Smart lighting poles in Budapest

The first group-linked public lighting poles have been introduced in Budapest. In the pilot project, five public lighting poles with different intelligent functions were installed and connected in a network in the capital's 9th district.

In addition to providing energy-saving lighting, the poles are suitable for brightness control and remote control, as well as additional intelligent features including wi-fi service, video surveillance, emergency call, electric vehicle charging, environment sensors and programmable LED information screens.
