The latest investment of MERKBAU Plc. was inaugurated this Friday: a joinery and carpentry plant built with a budget of more than HUF 2.5 billion. For the investment, the more than 30-year-old company, which is based in Kiskunhalas, S Hungary, received government support of nearly HUF 1 billion.
The company's latest investment, inaugurated in a ceremony, includes the construction of a new 1,200-square-meter carpentry and joinery workshop, related facilities and the purchase of new equipment at the company's own premises in Kiskunhalas.
The joinery and carpentry plant has been equipped with CNC-controlled machinery, a logistical high-bay warehouse, a spray booth for grain and paint spraying, and the purchase of an 8-ton crane.
