Bayer Construct Plc. is to build a factory in Sóskút, southwest of Budapest, where it will operate a bathroom assembly plant, as part of a new HUF 15 billion investment, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The project, which promises to create 100 new jobs, will be subsidized by Hungarian taxpayers to the tune of HUF 6.6 billion, according to a government decision.
Bayer Construct now employs more than 1,500 people in Hungary. Through its activities, the company is continuously contributing to the performance of the Hungarian construction industry and Bayer Construct is engaged in a complex business that covers virtually the entire spectrum of construction activities, from property development, design, manufacturing and construction to sales and operation, the statement said.
