ContiTech Rubber International Ltd. has started recruiting more staff for its business service centre in Szeged (SE Hungary), the local unit of Germany's ContiTech said on Monday.
ContiTech Rubber International Ltd. plans to hire 130 more white-collar workers at the BSC by the end of 2027, for positions in sales, business development, supply chain, engineering, technical support, legal and compliance. Around 160 people work at the BSC at present.
ContiTech Rubber Industrial Ltd. is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year; the company has been operating as part of the Continental Group in Hungary since 2004. Over the past six decades, the Szeged facility has grown into one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of textile-reinforced belts, with its products used in various industrial sectors worldwide.
In addition to manufacturing, the company’s Szeged Business Service Center — its business services and competence center — is playing an increasingly important role, providing engineering, business support, and operational services to the company’s global organization. The goal of the new development initiative is to concentrate additional professional expertise and international processes in Szeged.
ContiTech Rubber Industrial had revenue of HUF 50.3 billion in 2025, public records show.
