Factory gate prices in Hungary edged down 0.4% year-on-year in June, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show.
Prices for domestic sale were up 1.8% while export prices decreased 1.4%.
Domestic prices of the manufacturing sector, which have a 67.6% weight in the PPI, rose 1.1%. Domestic energy prices, which account for 30.0% of PPI, increased 2.3%.
Export prices of the manufacturing sector, which have a 90.1% weight in the PPI, were 3.3% lower.
In a month-on-month comparison, factory gate prices edged up 0.1% as prices for domestic sale were up 0.5% and export prices slipped 0.1%.
For the period January-June, factory gate prices declined 0.9% as prices for domestic sale inched up 0.2% and export prices were down 1.4%.
