Belden, an American cable manufacturer, is relocating its manufacturing operations from the Netherlands to Hungary and has therefore signed a lease agreement for the entire area of the HelloParks Páty PT5 warehouse.
The 42,000-square-meter facility will be the company’s largest cable factory in Europe, with production expected to begin in early 2028, innovative industrial real estate developer and investor HelloParks announced on Tuesday.
The agreement covers more than 40,000 square meters of industrial and warehouse space, as well as 2,000 square meters of office space, making the company HelloParks’ largest tenant. By merging its operations in the Netherlands and Hungary, the Hungarian unit will play a more prominent role in the company’s global production network than before.
Belden, a St. Louis-based company with a history of more than 120 years, manufactures data transmission cables for industrial and enterprise network infrastructures and also offers networking and connectivity solutions. The company’s regional headquarters for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa is located in Venlo, the Netherlands, and it currently operates in Hungary through Duna-Kábel Ltd. in Budapest.
Spanning 87 hectares, HelloParks Páty is located in the western suburbs of Budapest, directly adjacent to the M1 highway. The PT5 warehouse, which was handed over in the first quarter of 2026, is already the fourth completed building in the megapark, which offers 184,000 square meters of warehouse and industrial space.
HelloParks offers a full range of services, from site development and construction to facility management. Since its inception, the company has established a presence at four locations: Maglód, Fót, Páty and Alsónémedi, all near Budapest. The company is currently developing more than one million square meters of warehouse and industrial space across 200 hectares. The total development value of completed and ongoing projects is close to EUR 600 million.
