Hungarian cosmetics and cleaning products company Caola inaugurated a technology upgrade at its base in Martonvásár, near the capital, on Monday, MTI reports.

With support from the Sándor Demján program created to support SME investments, Caola has purchased a packaging machine used in body powder production and a power storage system and a process control software for the entire factory.

As a result of the technology upgrade, Caola is reintroducing the Malevol industrial cleaning product line, which can play a significant role in the cleaning of aircraft.

The press statement released by the company, the aim of the development project is to enable MALEVOL's new product portfolio to become a key player in the industrial and aircraft cleaning market once again by integrating modern research and development results. Caola's international laboratory and professional collaborations ensure that the new formulas meet the most stringent technological and safety requirements.

According to the Ministry of National Economy, Caola's Martonvásár base provides an insight into the operation of domestic SMEs as part of the Modern Model Plant Program.

Caola had revenue of HUF 1.4 billion last year, public records show.
