Factory gate prices in Hungary rose 1.8% year-on-year in October, data released by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Friday show.
Prices for domestic sale edged up 0.9% and export prices climbed 2.2%.
Domestic prices of the manufacturing sector, which have a 62.7% weight in the PPI, rose 0.6% year-on-year. Domestic energy prices, which account for 35.4% of PPI, increased 1.3%.
Export prices of the manufacturing sector, which have a 91.8% weight in the PPI, inched up 0.1%.
In a month-on-month comparison, factory gate prices rose 0.4% as prices for domestic sale slipped 0.1% but export prices increased 0.7%.
For the period January-October, PPI reached 5.5% as prices for domestic sale rose 3.1% and export prices climbed 6.7%.
