After 23 years, Wendy's may reappear in Hungary: one of the world's largest fast food chains is actively seeking franchise partners in our country. The company's goal is to reach 2,000 international restaurants by 2028, and the domestic market would also play a role in this.
As reported by the business portal penzcentrum.hu, the company has more than 7,200 restaurants worldwide, primarily through franchise partners, and has relaunched its European expansion over the past three years.
It already operates 45 units in the United Kingdom and has also opened a restaurant in Romania this year. Although the exact date of the Hungarian opening is not yet known, Wendy's is already actively seeking franchise partners in Hungary.
The fast food chain's headquarters informed us that Wendy's continues to prove its strength as a global brand and has set a clear goal of reaching 2,000 international restaurants by 2028. To support this growth, they are actively recruiting franchise partners who will build and operate new Wendy's restaurants in Hungary.
