This time, the 10-kilometer route was exclusively on the Buda side, along the embankment of the River Danube, with the start and finish at the Vérmező park in the Hungarian capital's District I.
The running race was organized in three categories: 10 km NATO RUN individual for women and men; 10 km NATO RUN invitational international team competition for soldiers; and 10 km NATO RUN relay, two persons (4,5km + 5,5km) for women, men and mixed teams.
There was also an additional 4 km run for women, men and under 14-year-old girls and boys.
