The 2026 UEFA Champions League final will be held in the Puskás Arena in the Hungarian capital, the European Football Association (UEFA) executive committee has decided at its session in Dublin on Wednesday.

Hungary will host club football's most prestigious match for the first time in its history. In the past, the UEFA CL final venues included 32 stadiums in 28 cities in 15 countries. The Puskás Arena, inaugurated in 2019, will host the third European cup final after the 2020 Super Cup and last year's Europa League final.

UEFA's governing body also announced that the final of the second most prestigious European soccer competition, the Europa League, will be held in Istanbul, Turkey in 2026 and in Frankfurt, Germany a year later.

The last match of the 2025/26 Conference League season will be played in Leipzig, Germany while the one in 2027 will be Istanbul.
