British expert to head Syngenta Hungary

As of August 1, Matthew Prickard took over as the General Manager of Syngenta Hungary, replacing Tibor Czigány who moves on to work in Syngenta's African division. Matthew Prickard arrived to Hungary from the top position ar the firm's Scandinavian division. Syngenta is a Swiss agribusiness that produces agrochemicals and seeds.

Until his appointment to Hungary, Matthew Pickard, he worked
as the head of Syngenta's commercial unit in Scandinavia. Under his management,
the company made significant progress in the Nordic region's plant protection
and seed market. The British specialist joined Syngenta in 1999, having spent
several important positions in Europe and Africa over the past 18 years.
