First BYD buses completed in Komárom

The first two electric buses have been manufactured at the plant of the BYD Electric Bus and Truck Hungary Ltd. in the local industrial park in Komárom, west of Budapest. The Chinese company opened its Hungarian plant in April this year.

When running in full cspacity, the plant is scheduled to produce 400 vehicles a year by employing 300 people.
