The Diplomacy & Trade Club held its latest business club event in the grand ballroom of the five-star Corinthia Hotel Budapest following a recent special focus on relations between Hungary and the United States published in Diplomacy & Trade.

Following an introduction by publisher Peter Freed, guests were welcomed by the General Manager of the Corinthia Hotel Budapest, Jean Pierre Mifsud.

The keynote speakers of the evening about Hungarian-American relations included the Head of the North America Department in the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Tamás Magyarics and the Head of the U.S. Commercial Service in Budapest, Dale Wright.

Two businessmen – Dror Harel, Country Manager for Air France / KLM and Vincent van der Meijden, Managing Director of Business Lease Hungary – had the opportunity to introduce their respective companies to the audience.

Following the presentations, guests were provided a tasteful buffet supper by the hotel and had the opportunity to take a close look at the fully electric Tesla Model S car introduced to clients in Hungary by Business Lease.
