Hungarian President János Áder held his traditional new year reception at the Palace of Arts for diplomats accredited in Budapest. The reception included musical performances from the works of great Hungarian 20th century composers Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály.
In his speech, President Áder voiced his opinion that the events of the past year many times undermined dilagie between the different countries and it was difficult to find answers to new challenges. "We had a hard time understanding each other but still, we found a concerted note from time to time. In 2016, we'll need this ability more than ever," he said.
