The top Hungarian female tennis player, Tímea Babos, paired with France's Kristina Mladenovic, defeated the Czech duo of Barbora Krejčiková and Kateřina Siniaková in three sets to qualify for Sunday's final.

Seed No. 2 Babos and Mladenovic seemed to be well on track for an easy victory, having won the first set 6-2. However, the 4th seed Czechs came back, taking the second set 6-4.

The decisive set was quite balanced and it was only after 5-all that the Hungarian-French duo, the defending champions, could decide the outcome. They won the service game of Mladenovic to go 6-5. It was Siniaková's turn to serve, Babos and Mladenovic had several chances to wrap up the match. Evetually, they managed to take advantage of the sixth math point to make it to the final where they will face 14th seed Alexa Guarachi of Chile and Desirae Krawczyk.
