More than ever in one day, 90 people died of the new coronavirus infection in Hungary in the past 24 hours, bringing the official number of fatalities to 2,063.
The new coronavirus infection was detected in another 4,219 Hungarians, thus increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 90,988.
21,232 people have already recovered. The number of active infections is 67,693. 4,871 patients with coronavirus infection are cared for in hospital, 355 of them are on ventilators. 17,657 tests were performed, of which 23.8 percent were positive.
