Another 107 Hungarians fell victim to the new coronavirus infection, the majority of them were elderly and chronic patients, bringing the official number of deaths in the country to 2,357.
The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 104,943, there are 36,911 in compulsory home quarantine. 24,847 people recovered from the disease.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 77,739. There are currently 5,612 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus, 405 of whom are on ventilators.
