The official number of daily fatalities due to the new coronavirus infection has continued to rise in Hungary: 165 patients died in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 5,142.
The new coronavirus infection was detected in 4,136 new Hungarians, which increased the number of identified infections in Hungary to 225,209, according to the relevant Hungarian government portal.
7732 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 649 of whom are on ventilators. There are currently 65,888 people who have recovered and 154,179 active people infected.
The day before, news had been received of 3,951 new infections and 154 deaths.
