More Than Ever COVID-19 Fatalities in a Day in Hungary

The number of daily deaths in the country has skyrocketed in the last 24 hours: 182 patients died, bringing the number of deaths to 5,324.

The new coronavirus infection was detected in another 6,635 Hungarians, thus increasing the number of identified infections in Hungary to 231,844.
7,693 coronavirus patients are cared for in hospital, 663 of them are on ventilators.
The number of recovered people is currently 67,033, the number of active infected people is 159,487. These are the officially disclosed figures.

The relevant government website finds it important to note that 20% of the active infected, 23% of the dead and 25% of the recovered are from Budapest.
