Locals at Somoskőújfalu, a village of just over 2,000 people, located northeast of Budapest at the Slovak border, created a small scale replica of their village from gingerbread for Christmas.
In view of last year's great success, the village leadership again asked the local community again to make a 'gingerbread village'. The diligent hands again made wonderful little creations.
The completed Gingerbread Village can be viewed until January 31 in the village cultural center.
