Number of COVID-19 Deaths Surpasses 10,000 in Hungary

103 Hungarians died in the past 24 hours, bringing the official number of deaths in this country to 10,080. 5,760 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 394 of whom are on ventilators.

The new coronavirus infection was detected in 870 new cases, increasing the number of identified infections in Hungary to 329,721.

The number of people who recovered is currently 176,576, that of active infected people has decreased to 143,065, according to the official website koronavirus.gov.hu.

The day before, 856 new infections and 93 deaths was reported.
