Compared to the last few days, the number of new infections and deaths has both decreased, according to the latest data published on the government website on the coronavirus situation.
Providing detailed information, the government website points out that the new coronavirus infection was detected in 1707 new Hungarian citizens; of the 70 deceased in the past 24 hours were mostly elderly, chronic patients; 3,755 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 312 of them are on ventilators.
The number of people recovered is currently 296,173 while that of active infected people has dropped to 77,583. So far, 387,462 infected people have been identified in Hungary, and a total of 13,706 people have died due to the new coronavirus infection.
