Italian Business Day in Debrecen

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (Camera di Commercio Italiana per l'Ungheria – CCIU) held an Italian Business Day event in Debrecen, E Hungary with the participation of the Italian Ambassador to Hungary, Massimo Rustico.

The Italian Business Day in Debrecen included various meetings:

Institutional meeting

Debrecen Mayor László Papp, Ambassador Massimo Rustico and the representatives of CCIU such as the President Ferdinando Martignago, the former Vice President Francesco Maria Mari as well as the director of Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Marco Bulf, the director of the Italian Cultural Institute Gianluca Borghese and the honorary consul Roberto Sarcià attened this meeting, at which, according to a statement by CCIU, the bases for the intensification of commercial partnership between Italy and Hungary have been laid at the meeting.

In presence of the Mayor and the Ambassador the meeting took place at the Hajdú-Bihar County Chamber of Commerce between Italian and Hungarian companies. During the conference meeting, the regional chamber of Hajdú-Bihar presented their project aimed to create new opportunities and investment possibilities for Italian partners in Hungary and to have new partnerships in the fields of industry, culture and education.

Cultural event

The Italian Business Day was concluded with a concert in the wonderful setting of Debrecen’s Csokonai Theater. The performance of the duet of guitar and flute by Graziano Schiavone and Davide Lazzari was highly appreciated by the special guests invited to the show. The night was celebrated with a special ‘Light gala’ in the foyer of theater, where Italian specialties were served.
