Another three patients deceased as a result of the new coronavirus infection in Hungary, while the number of active infections and hospitalisations continue to rise.
By Thursday, another 345 people had been diagnosed with the new coronavirusin Hungary, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 814 409, according to official figures. The previous day, 246 new infections were reported.
The outbreak has claimed 3 more lives, bringing the total number of deaths to 30,080.
The number of active infected people has been rising for days, with the latest figures standing at 5,798 (+212). The number of those recovered is 778,531 (+130).
There are 215 more patients with coronavirus infection in hospital, up seven on the previous day. Of these, 26 are on ventilators, their number has not changed.
On Wednesday, 13 214 coronavirus tests were carried out - a total of 6,664,898 so far - of which 2.61% were positive.
To date, 5,830 217 people have received their first dose of the vaccine, 4,386 more compared to the day before, and 5,535,463 of them have received their second dose (+5,184). The number of people vaccinated with the third dose is 461,000 (+23,000).
