More and More COVID-19 Patients Hospitalized in Hungary

A further 633 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infected people in Hungary to 822,705 since the beginning of the outbreak, according to the government's information page.

Five patients have died, bringing the total official number of deaths related to the new coronavirus infection in this country to 30,190.

The number of cured persons has increased to 785,090 and the number of active infected persons to 7,425.

539 patients with coronavirus are in hospital, up ten from Wednesday, 87 of whom are on ventilators, six more than a day ago.

The total number of vaccinated is 5,887,540, of whom 5,645,518 have already received their second vaccination and 760 000 have already received their third vaccination.
