Gellért Mester made good use of his lunch-break and helped his football team win a match in the Somogy county championship recently. He scored goals in the first half before going back to work in a restaurant in Siófok at Lake Balaton in Western Hungary.

As the news website origo.hu reports, local side
Balatoni Vasas SE played the team of the village of Segesd in the first division
of the county championship. Mester, who had regularly played football before
but decided he would make a better living by working as a restaurant chef,
undertook to play in the first half that coincided with his lunch break at his
workplace.

The visitors were
leading 1-0 when Mester first scored a goal at the end of a counter-attack in
the 34th minute and then took the lead for his team with a second goal
just before half time. Then, he went back to work and only learned from his
teammates by phone later that they won the match 4-1.
