101 chronic patients, mostly elderly, have died in the past 24 hours, bringing the official total number of deaths in this country to 42,170, according to the government website koronavirus.gov.hu
The report says 13,932 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infections to 1,671,547 since the beginning of the outbreak
The number of those cured is now 1,400,137, while the number of active infected is 229,240, the latter figure showing a decrease since days.
On Wednesday, 5,108 patients were hospitalized with coronavirus inection, 193 of whom are on ventilators, 16 more than the number reported a day earlier.
The number of people vaccinated remained little changed at 6,375,808 on Wednesday, of whom 6,125,019 had already received their second vaccination and 3,741,717 had already received their confirmatory third vaccination.
