The flow of refugees from invasion-torn Ukraine continues. On Sunday, 4,017 people entered Hungary at the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, while 6,402 of those entering at the Romanian-Hungarian border said they had come from Ukraine, the National Police Headquarters (ORFK) said.
As MTI reported Monday morning, of those who entered, police issued 58 people with temporary residence permits valid for 30 days. They will have to go to the office of the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing for their place of residence to obtain their permanent documents.
People fleeing the war in Ukraine usually also arrive to Budapest by train, there was no one arriving by train this Sunday, ORFK added.
